For our final performance, we had the class do the pledge we did ourselves the night before for our own groups performance (see below); only this time with the whole studio research class. We stood up and held our flags instead of putting them on the wall, and Sofiya lead a call and repeat pledge to Terra Cotta Coffee House, mimicking the United States own pledge of allegiance in an ironic way.

We each stood, hands on our breast, and were led in a pledge by Sofiya to the space, Terra Cotta. We wanted it to be comical and ironic, mimicking the United States own pledge of allegiance, just manipulating ours in a way that almost degrades the U.S.’s own pledge.
